Our Trip To Nova Scotia
There’s no place like home. And for Drew & I that is Nova Scotia. We were both born & raised on the East Coast and then once we both graduated, him first than myself. We decided to move to the West Coast. For the most part we love both coasts, we get to absorb the beauty between the both. But our home will always be Nova Scotia.
We spent just about a week or so visiting in September, and this was my first time back since just before I found out I was pregnant with Ella. It was Owens 3rd trip home. It was Drew’s first time back in almost 9-10 years… It was hard to come back. When we did we were hit with home sickness’s bad this time. We have all of our family and childhood friends there, so naturally it would be.
It’s just as beautiful and laid back as everyone says it is. We managed to tour around a few days in between wedding chaos. Of course we visited our favourite areas like Lunenburg & Mahone Bay. The colours are so bright and fun. The history is just so cool & crazy. Everyone you meet are so friendly. The ocean breeze follows you wherever you go! It’s seriously such a beautiful place to go. The whole family had such a great time absorbing it all in. It’s just never long enough!
