Holiday Table Setting | Value Village

This family is made up of minimalist. Less is more! We haven’t always been that way. I have learnt after many years, big fancy, expensive home pieces just don’t go where there’s children! haha I’ve had lots of things damaged or broken since the day Owen could walk up until now. It’s tricky, but on that same note I like decorating and having pretty things in my home. Especially around the holidays.

I like my children to see the pretty festive decorations but I also don’t want a mourning if any of them were to break which is why I’ve resorted to Value Village! I’ve found really cute holiday items there and to be honest, I don’t feel that bad if they break because it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg! Right!

This year, I left the table simple with a touch of Christmas. Almost all the items here have been found at Value Village including the table wear, candle holders, cranberry garland, the chalkboard I created hanging on my wall (I brought back to life) & that gold deer. I had found the deer in rough sharp, quickly gave him a little spray of paint and good as new. I think I may keep him up all year round! When you look around my home I proudly display items from Value Village, it’s always fun to walk around and find old items to turn new!
